Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, is termed KL by locals. Its modern prospect is controlled by the 451m-tall Petronas Twin Towers, a pair of glass-and-steel-clad towers with Islamic themes. The towers also offer a public skybridge and remark deck. The city is also home to British colonial-era benchmarks such as the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building.

Started at the head of the Klang Valley in the mid-nineteenth century, Kuala Lumpur – broadly known as KL – has never had a intelligible style. The earliest impressive buildings around Merdeka Square, socializing from the 1890s, are peculiar fusings of influences from across the British Empire, now outshone by soaring modern milestones (notably the Petronas Towers) that wouldn’t be out of place in Hong Kong or New York. This melange spreads to the people too; temptations aside, you could spend a visit simply soaked up KL’s astoundingly diverse Malay, Chinese and Indian cultures
